Responsible for:

• Coordinating crew

• Assuring all assets are ready to go prior to showtime

• Communicate with other studios

• Watch program feed for mistakes to make the next take tighter

• Assure the show is following the rundown

• Call shots when deviations from the rundown are necessary

• A to B vernacular

  • Countdown to showtime

  • Build shots in preview then send to program

Responsible for:

• Coordinating crew

• Request shots from the technical director and cameras

• Call all shots for production

• Look for what's next and call creative shots to get the best production

• Preview/Program vernacular

  • Ready/Set/Take

  • Spin it

  • Fade/Mic/Cue

Responsible for:

• Setting up/taking down cameras

• Gripping

• Cable management

• Assuring mic's are operational

• Setting up/taking down scene for the day

• Turning on/off switcher, audio board, graphics computers, teleprompter, and monitors and assure they are all operational

• Turning on/off and setting up lighting

Responsible for:

• Creating lower thirds with Canva

• Creating full pages with Canva

• Inserting graphics into ATEM media software

• Organizing files in an orderly and easy to find fashion
