Boise State University - Video Production Course
Recorded on a Canon M50
Compiled in Adobe Premiere Pro
This video captures what I have been learning throughout the duration of my time at Boise State University. It received high praise from my professor and media professional, Arnold Ytreeide, as he listed it in the courses “Best in Class” list:
“These films are ‘Ready or very nearly ready to show in a professional venue.’ These four films are good examples of a completed piece in four very different genres, for four very different reasons.”

As an intern, I was tasked with firstly researching the real estate industry so I knew the direction of the videos I would be creating. After discussing with my client about what they wanted the videos to be about, I then came up with a pitch and with that in mind we collaborated on final touches and coordinating different industry professionals as talent. I met with these professionals and recorded video in a professional manner. I then compiled, edited, and exported the videos and delivered them to the client for use.

In this project, I and my three other teammates created a live-edit interview-style video.
Setup:
- Lighting
- Background
- Set
- Studio Equipment
One the cut was recorded, we edited it down to our desired length and added music, b-roll, and graphics in post. This exercise demonstrated teamwork, coordinating with outside talent, live-editing with minimal crew, and proper setup procedure for the desired outcome on the first take.
